At Donvale Primary School we encourage parents and carers to become involved in school life.
Parent helpers are always welcome in the Junior School classroom across all curriculum areas as well as on excursions. A training session is held each year to assist volunteers to support students in the most effective way.
To join us as a parent helper either in the classroom, on excursions or for any of our Parents Association activies, you will be required to have a current Working With Childrens Check. You can apply for one here Working With Childrens Check Application
Our active Parents Association undertakes fundraising and fosters the community feeling of the school through special events such as Mother’s Day stalls, Father’s Day breakfasts, Kid’s Discos. Please see our Parents Association page for further information.
We have a committed School Council, partly made up of parents that oversee the strategic direction of the school. Being a councillor is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. It provides an opportunity to directly influence policies and school operation that relate to your child’s education and experiences at Donvale Primary School.
