We are very excited to have made the finalist list for a Leader Local Grant.

To get this funding we need your help to vote for our club !

    Please go to www.leaderlocalgrants.com.au

click on ” see the finalists”

click on search local newspaper “Manningham”.

You’ll find our club “Donvale Junior Chef”.

Please vote for us. Everyone has 10 votes they can use, so if you can, please use all 10 to votes for our club !

You need to register so you can vote for us.

We are applying for a $1000.00 grant to further improve our great club.

We are going to use :

    - $200.00 for buying seedlings and plants for our school veggie garden (as no budget for this at the moment) .

    - $400.00 for buying some more appliances so every child can have the opportunity to have a hands on cooking experience (at the moment they have to share and we still need to use some of ours from home).

    - $400.00 for buying ingredients so we can have cooking sessions for every child at school for free (12 sessions with 20 children each session) and if we have spare money we also can afford to invite Melbourne Market to come to our school for an incursion for the whole school, so the children have more understanding about how fresh food is distributed (this costs about $100.00).

Thank you so much for your time and support.

Liang Dimitroff and all the team helpers really appreciate it.

  • Last Chance to register for Junior Chef Club

    Posted on March 25th, 2012

Next week is the last chance to send the form in with $5.00 enclosed to the school if your child wants to participate in this program.

The form is on our school website, snippets 23rd February edition and at the school office.

We need to finalise the groups, the menus, parents helper roster and also produce a cookbook for every child in the program.

Thank you to the Sinclair and Sinosich families for their very generous donations of kitchen stuff.

As always any donations will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your support.

We don’t cook, we create food.
